THE OSA PENINSULA is located in the Southern Pacific area of Costa Rica and is wild and unspoiled, Mostly accessible by plane or boat.
It’s lowland PRIMARY rain forests provide the habitat for hundreds of species of tropical birds- the most famous being the Scarlet Macaw. Four different species of monkeys, snakes (boas, fer de lance, coral, bushwhacker and many more) The dense jungle is filled with wildlife- wild pigs, giant anteater,tapirs, jaguars, sloths, and much more. Insects- there are too many to count.
How can I Visit Corcovado National Park? You will need a naturalist guide who knows the area very well. So most tourist purchase an all
inclusive packaged tour, flying out of San Jose in a small aircraft and being met by a naturalist guide and led to the Wilderness Lodge of their choice. The packaged tours are all inclusive and include lodging, food, transportation , and some tours into the national park.
