TESTIMONIAL TO XINIA AND ANN’S COSTA RICA B&B-ALAJUELA, COSTA RICA

We stayed at Xinia and Rolando’s home during December of 2015. I cannot say enough about this family. Xinia is not only a wonderful hostess, but truly, a kind and compassionate spirit. The meals and house were wonderful, her house is a home, and she was attentive to every need and great with suggestions for getting around town. If you stay, you will also enjoy getting to know her husband and son. Rolando plays guitar and is gentle with children. My son loves him and doesn’t speak a word of Spanish, but somehow knows Rolando is his friend. By the end of the trip, my seven-year-old was asking for me to leave him in Costa Rica with his “other parents.” We traveled all over the country and then returned to Xinia’s before our flight out. Kaleb ran to Xinia’s door and said, “Mommy, we are finally home” and threw himself into Xinia’s arms. There are many places to stay in Costa Rica, and we stayed everywhere, but if you want to enjoy your stay, go to Xinia’s. We are already planning a trip back for this summer. We will be heading south to San Isidro de General, but plan on going back to Xinia’s for at least a day or two to visit our new-found family.
