The Most Fun Zip Line in Arenal Costa Rica

If you want to hear about the MOST FUN Zip Line in all of Costa Rica.  Well it is located near Arenal Volcano  and it is called Sky Tram Sky Trek.  Its a half day tour.

First you ride up a very high mountain in a glass gondola passing through the verdant green rainforest.  Perched high on the top of the trees you may find howler monkeys.  We saw one with her baby.  At the top you can see “forever.”  The unobstructed views of the mighty Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal  are amazing!

You can ride back down in the aerial tram or you can take the nine cable -1.9 miles zip line back down.  It’s like Tarzan and Jane swinging in the jungle.  Really gets your adrenalin going!  It’s great for the entire family, however kids younger than eight years are not allowed.

You can combine the zip line with the Sky Walk (this takes an additional 2 hours) .  We walked over suspension bridges, high up over the rainforest canopy.  Wow, what an experience!  We saw fern trees and

hundreds of bromeliads attached to the tree limbs and  some of them had red and yellow flowers.  We also saw also saw a group of howler monkeys congregated in the top of one of the tallest trees.
